Attention ESS employees: our monthly raffle is back in action for the 2018/19 school year! If you work 5+ days in September, you'll automatically earn an entry into our monthly drawing. The more days you work, the more chances you gain to win one of these awesome prizes!
Many of us would relish the opportunity to further our education – however, the prospect of incurring additional student loan debt is decidedly less appealing. Because ESS cares about helping you reach your goals, we've entered into a new partnership with Concordia University who is now offering scholarships to ESS employees who enroll in one of their master's or doctorate programs.
ESS is pleased to announce the newest additions to our family of school districts – the Everman Independent School District in Tarrant County, Texas, and the Celina Independent School District in Collin County, Texas. We are thrilled to expand our presence in the Lone Star State and provide the continuity in education services that will help students thrive.
This past Saturday, one of our hardworking substitutes, Ruth Reed, was waiting in line at her local Wawa in Medford, NJ when she offered to help pay for a man’s order when he didn’t have enough cash. Ruth was surprised to learn that this man was famous country singer, Keith Urban! She has made it her mission to pay for at least one customer’s order per week, and this week her good nature led her into a chance meeting with the famous musician and a photograph to prove it.
We're excited to announce that we've partnered with our third school district in the state of Texas – the Royse City Independent School District! We'll be providing substitutes for teachers (daily and long-term), educational aides, receptionists, and nurses. ESS is committed to hiring any of the district's current substitutes who choose to work with us, and we're also looking to expand the district's substitute pool with qualified local talent!
ESS’ recent partnership with Gallup-McKinley County Schools in New Mexico has been a tremendous success! Since our partnership began in April, the district feels it now has the resources to provide better service to its students, and they have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from their staff and administrators about the ESS program. We are proud to offer such an effective solution to Gallup-McKinley County Schools and we look forward to a long and prosperous partnership.
The ESS Bucks County team participated in a cake donation event through Baking Smiles Inc., a non-profit organization that provides free birthday cookie cakes to under-privileged children throughout Pennsylvania. ESS Recruiter Irene Ofori delivered cakes to the Trevose YWCA Shelter on Wednesday, July 11th. From here, they will be distributed to families throughout the Trevose and Bensalem area.
