Source4Teachers recently partnered with The Clover School District, our second district partner in South Carolina! We're already amping up our hiring efforts so we're ready to go for the 2017/18 school year which begins in mid-August. We will be providing the district with daily and long-term substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, clerical personnel, nurses, and food service workers. Source4Teachers Regional Vice President, Doug Snyder, was recently interviewed by CN2 News at one of our Clover hiring events. Check out the video below:

June marks your last chance to win one of our monthly raffle prizes during the 2016/17 school year. But don't worry, this exciting program will resume in September!
As a company, Source4Teachers is always eager to support continuing education and academic achievement. On Saturday, May 20th, Source4Teachers' Eastern Virginia Team sponsored and participated in Hampton City Schools' 2017 5K Run for the Stage. The annual event supports on-time graduation, and proceeds go toward college scholarships for Hampton students. As "diploma sponsors" Source4Teachers contributed $1,000, worked a table at the event, and some of our team even crossed the finish line!
We wanted to give a shout-out to our team in Schuylkill and Luzerne, PA who have gone above and beyond recently, volunteering their time at three events geared toward people with special needs. As a company, we work with students with special needs on a daily basis, striving to provide them with the support they need to succeed. We love to see our corporate employees taking extra initiative to contribute to such meaningful causes.
Historically, the warm months of spring come with a spike in teacher absences – which means more opportunities for substitutes to work before summer! To help fill these extra assignments, we recently ran an exciting flash promotion. Every substitute who worked on both Friday, May 5th and Monday, May 8th was automatically entered into a drawing to win a Sharp 32" LED 1080p Smart TV. Lucky winners were chosen from each of the states in which we operate.
Earlier today, Source4Teachers proudly sponsored a table at the 2017 Philadelphia Go Red for Women Luncheon at the Crystal Tea Room. More than 750 people from the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area gathered to raise money, share survival stories, and promote awareness about heart disease, the leading cause of death in women in the United States.
We're half way through one of our favorite weeks of the year – National Teacher Appreciation Week! Throughout the week, communities come together to honor some of their most important contributors – teachers. While many businesses and restaurants are offering special promotions for teachers, each one of us should do our part to spread the love.
We wanted to give a shout-out to our awesome Eastern Virginia Team. Yesterday, April 18th, the local Source4Teachers staff held a substitute appreciation event at Bethel High School in Hampton, VA. With another successful school year winding down, the team encouraged substitutes from four local school districts to stop by and enjoy some festivities. In conjunction with the event, the team hosted a food drive – and we were blown away by the level of participation!
About 150 substitutes attended the event, and contributed bags upon bags of food to donate. 67 substitutes participated in our Bloodborne Pathogen training in preparation for the 2017/18 school year. The food was later dropped off at Newport News’ South Morrison Center, benefiting students and their families. Check our some photos from the event and delivery below!
