Since April is World Autism Month, and we work closely with students with autism every day, we wanted to kick off the month promoting awareness and raising money for Autism Speaks. Corporate employees of Source4Teachers and MissionOne proudly donned blue apparel and puzzle piece ribbons to Light it Up Blue for autism. All last week, we collected donations with the goal of raising $1,000. We're so proud of all the generous employees that got behind this initiative. We not only met our goal – we surpassed it! On Friday evening, we submitted a donation of $1213.50 to Autism Speaks.
Many of the support staff we rely on each day at Source4Teachers and MissionOne work closely with students with autism. Since World Autism Day (April 2nd) falls on a Sunday this year, our office used Friday to acknowledge the compassionate work these employees do each day and support a cause that continues to grow in scope and importance.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is right around the corner, and to show our support, Source4Teachers and MissionOne are participating in many Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks throughout the East Coast. Round up your friends and family and join us in support of this important cause!
Beth Salaris, our dedicated Connecticut recruiter, held her 2nd Annual Welcome Back Reception on August 30, 2016. She invited substitutes to donate school supplies to go to Bridgeport Public Schools and couldn't believe the incredible turnout! Thanks to Beth and all of our generous substitutes who contributed to this cause!
